Because I like arcade games soo much, I decided to build my own arcade cabinet.

Arcade Cabinet

This page wont give you instructions on how to build your own cabinet, or even how i built mine. There are plenty of ideas and instructions on the web. Simply do a google search for "Arcade Cabinet". Do LOTS of research and look at LOTS of designs. It won't be easy or cheap, but it's TOTALLY worth it. One idea to keep in mind that I don't see advice on is keep your total weight and size in mind. If you build a cabinet too big, you can't move it to other locations (if you move). Also, try to make it as lightweight as possible (USE AN LCD, NO CRTS, you can't tell the difference on arcade games). You won't have to worry about it moving around, and if it is a problem in the end, you can always add more weight.

Looking Back
Here are some things that I wish I had done differently...
I should have went with the normal sized marquee... the large one looks a little awkward.
Used an LCD rather than a CRT. I thought that scaling on the LCD would be horrible (I didn't own one at the time).
Tried to size it down and make it more modular, its almost too big...
As much as I like a trackball, its just not useful in the long run.
